Welcome to another one of our weekly newsletters! With our very own Adventure Golf course due to be opening very soon, it's fair to say we're all very excited at the prospect of getting down there to see if we can beat the pirates and dinosaurs around 18 holes, especially me! With lots to mention this week I'll be sure to give an update on just how close we are to opening later on. Enjoy the read.

Game Improvement Update
Scott arrived for the second lesson on the range of his eight week course, and John knew exactly the route he wanted to take in the lesson due to the results from the assessment form that he filled out at the beginning of the course. On the form he had marked himself very low on his driver performance with poor striking and big slices, so this was the club John wanted to focus on and improve during the session.
As you can see from the first picture of his grip (left), it was what we would call a 'weak grip' with only one knuckle showing on the left hand. In the second photo (right) we turned his left hand round a little to show more knuckles on his left hand which will help to square the clubface up at impact.
From the next two pictures you will notice John has moved the ball position from the middle of the stance to the left heel. This is twofold for Scott, firstly with the ball further forward the club will not be de-lofted and secondly it will be easier for him to move through onto his left foot which he has had problems with in the past.
What we now see in the last picture is Scott in a lovely relaxed follow through with the weight on the left side. He is now finding it much easier to follow through on all his swings and enjoying better golf through it.
"I found the change in my grip very easy to do, and the new follow through is much more confortable and helps me hit better shots. I played at the weekend and played much better, and I am thoroughly enjoying the lessons with John as he makes it very easy to understand"
