We are in need of a volunteer to be our "Game Improvement Champion". The idea is that we work with somebody for eight weeks and help them work on all aspects of their game and check their equipment is well suited and in turn improve their golf scores.
Anyone volunteering must be available at least once a week to undertake their lessons and be prepared to have their progress reported weekly in our newsletter as well as writing their own thoughts on their progress. We want to use all of our years of experience as coaches, custom fitting specialists and PGA professionals to help someone make big progress in a fairly short space of time! PGA Professional John Brotherton has put together a great programme of coaching for this eight week period, which will also include additional sessions on the golf course making this a great value opportunity.

Many of you have been asking about the 6th green and when this will be turfed. This is taking place later than we hoped as the very specific blend of grass we need is only available from a specific area of the UK. In the main this is the North of the country, in this case Yorkshire. Unfortunately until recently, soil temperatures there had been too low for the grass to be harvested, the good news is now the temperature has risen the turf is being cut on Monday and will arrive with us on Tuesday - when of course we'll start laying it.
Adventure Golf Progress
Our fantastic Adventure Golf course is now really taking shape, the artificial turf has started to be laid on the Safari area of the course. It's Our Birthday!!!
Manston Golf Centre is 20 years old this Summer. We've come a long way since opening as purely a driving range back in 1995 - since then a golf course, grass practice area, short game area, custom fitting suite and dedicated coaching bays have been added. We continue to evolve and develop with improvements to the course and range, and of course the Adventure Golf Course.
To mark our anniversary we are holding a very special mid summer competition. We'd love to see as many of our customers from the last 20 years there for what should be a great occasion:

Our Saturday morning junior classes with PGA Professionals Benj and Keely are exceptionally popular, and great fun for those involved.
These sessions run every Saturday and Monday and are just £6 per child, so why not bring your little ones along.

All equipment is supplied, and there are 2 PGA Professionals per session to ensure adequate child/coach ratio.
