Welcome to another one of our weekly newsletters from MGC! With the weather slowly warming up, we can almost break out the polo shirts and indeed the shorts and start the summer tan! Within the newsletter this week, we have a putting clinic date, updates on our adventure golf and much more! Enjoy the read.

John Brothertons Putting Clinic

Saturday, 16 May will see another putting clinic run by our Senior Coach John Brotherton. The clinic will help you towards having an understanding of your own putting stroke and also gain valuable confidence on the putting green in the future.

The clinic will be on a first come first served basis and limited to just 6 people!

The cost for the session is just £20 and will be from 11-12pm. If you would like to participate in this clinic please enquire in the pro shop or contact john at john@manstongolf.co.uk.

Adventure Golf

Our adventure golf is really starting to take shape now with some of the features starting to be created and there is even a dinosaur down there too! Every day is a huge step closer to finishing this project. If you're coming to see us, be sure to take a look at the progress made. In the meantime the shortgame area is constantly busy with people determined to improve their shortgame for the summer months.

Just a gentle reminder that whilst the work is being completed, the use of our shortgame area is completely FREE! So an even bigger reason to come and work on those shortgame skills. Please bear with us whilst these changes happen as we are confident you will not be disappointed when they are complete.

Junior Coaching

Our junior coaching sessions are going from strength to strength with our Saturday and Monday Roll up sessions proving very popular with the up and coming young golfers.

These sessions are run by Keely and Benj on a Saturday from 10-11am and by Keely on a Monday from 5-6pm. Both sessions are just £6 per child for the hour and includes club hire should they require it. Best of all there is no need to book.

As you know our PGA Professionals are regularly playing in competitions throughout the UK and indeed abroad. This week Keely has travelled to Spain to participate in another LET Access event and Max has travelled to Frilford Heath Golf Club in Oxfordshire to take place in an Order of Merit event. We wish them both the best of luck once again and will be sure to keep you updated of their progress.

January 2016 Trip
