Welcome to this week's newsletter, we've finally seen some snow, but luckily enough it hasn't settled so no need for the skis and sleds! In this week's newsletter, we have updates about the changes on the course, a quick survey on The Open, an exciting demo day and a testimonial about the coaching. Stay warm and I hope you enjoy.
This week it was announced that from 2017, The Open would be broadcast live on Sky. What do you think? We want to know your thoughts.
Click here to take our short survey, or click here to get in touch to leave some feedback.
We will publish our results in next weeks' newsletter.
Many thanks for taking part.
If you've been on our golf course over the past few weeks you will have noticed the development on the 6th green, and we're pleased to announce that the majority of the contours are now complete and we're just awaiting some grass! In the meantime as the soil is too wet to continue with the finishing touches, Peter Sparks will be re-doing and re-shaping the pond on the 9th hole to smarten it up a bit. Please bear with us as the course goes through these changes.
We are pleased to announce that we will be holding a PING Demo day on Thursday, 19 February between 2pm-6pm. The demo day will enable you to try out the latest PING clubs for the current season. Whether you're interested in a new set of clubs or just are interested in having a go then this is definitely the Demo day for you.

Coaching Does Work!
Matt Wakefield has been having regular lessons with our senior coach David Vernon and has recently sent this in to us;
"Since having lessons with David my game has gone from strength to strength. When I started with David I was confused and frustrated with my game. I didn't know what was causing my inconsistent shots and I definitely didn't have a clue on how to mend them!
David's lessons stood out from the first few minutes and they were relaxed, friendly and uncluttered. I didn't leave his lessons with a million thoughts going round in my mind just clear ideas on what to focus on when playing/practicing. This meant my game only ever improved as I didn't spend my time playing worried about lots of technical information. His experience has kept lessons fresh and interesting and the money I have invested in lessons have been far more beneficial than buying a new set of clubs! Since the summer I have knocked on average of 7 shots off a round and feel my game is far more consistent and reliable than it's ever been! I can't thank David enough!"
Thanks to Matt for sending this in and good luck with your golf, I'm glad you're enjoying it!
