Max Brackley Wins at Princes
January is usually the time when we're wrapped up warm inside, but for some of our pro's it meant a time to get back into the swing of tournaments! Max ventured down to Princes to play on the prestigious course in the PGA Titleist and FootJoy Winter Series.
Max didn't have the best of first days when he finished in 6th place. Tuesday proved to be slightly better and indeed the golf showed that. He played the first 9 holes in 1under, then played some steady golf, making a few birdies including driving a green 320yds away. But then decided to play the last 5 holes in 4 over meaning he finished with a 73. He waited around and eventually emerged victorious.
This is his second win in the Winter Series and moved him up to second on the order of merit! There are still a few tournaments to go so best of luck to him.
Congratulations Max!
