Christmas Fayre & Prizegiving

Last Saturday, we hosted our annual Christmas Fayre competition followed by prize presentation for this event and other tournaments throughout the year.

This tournament is always well supported, and this year was no exception with an excellent turnout enjoying the competition then settling in for our buffet and prizegiving.

Well done to Tom Brown on first place with an excellent 21 points, just piping Eric Willis on countback. Congratulations to all our other winners too.

Special mentions also to Ian Baker for walking off with the Club Championship trophy for the third year in a row, Jordan Nicholson for becoming the Nett Club Champion in his first season as a member and Beryl Howells for being the only competitor to beat Gavin in our ‘Beat the Pro’ challenge on the 8th.

Perhaps it’s no coincidence that our top two on Saturday, Tom and Eric, have both been having lessons with our coaching team here at Manston. Tom with Keely, while Eric has been seeing John regularly.
