Welcome to this week's newsletter, bringing you all the latest news and events from Manston Golf Centre. We hope you're having a great week.
Enjoy the read. |
Virtual Golf at Manston Normally the first week that the clocks go back and we enter longer evenings is a time of sadness for lots of golfers as they can no longer play some holes after work. This week though, we’ve seen lots of you coming to see us to play Virtual Golf on the Toptracer range bays. Not only is it a great way to practice all shots through the bag it’s also great fun to play with friends
|
Virtual Golf gives guests the opportunity to play some of the World's greatest golf courses right from the bays. Individual and groups can play a full 18 holes without ever having to leave the range.
The choice of courses is continually updating and at the moment includes Pebble Beach, Harbour Town, Bro Hof, London Club, Kiawah Island, Ullna, St Andrews, Spyglass Hill and Spanish Bay.

Practice in the warm
You may also have noticed that we now have heaters in Bays 8 and 9, and if popular, we’ll be adding more shortly. They’re ideal to keep the chill away.
Just hover your hand over the sensor and they’ll click on for a blast of heat. Perfect for early morning and evening practice.
Let us know what you think or any other feedback HERE.

Congratulations Alison Culmer
Keely’s pupil Alison Culmer has been celebrating a fantastic recent victory after carding an amazing 42 points to clinch victory at North Forelands Northcliffe Championships. Alison and Keely have been working together for a few years now with regular tuition on all aspects of Alison’s game. Golf was at times frustrating for Alison as she saw rapid development in all areas of her game but without having the “glue” to put everything together at once in one round. She certainly timed it well when it did all come right to win one of the biggest competitions at her club and see her name in lights on the honours board at the end of the year. Keely couldn’t be happier for Alison and it just goes to show that hard work does pay off. |

Double Trade-In
Still in the studio, we’ve had a very busy week as our Double Trade-In deal is in full swing. Lots of you have been calling in with your clubs to see what they are worse and being pleasantly surprised by what the old club left in the garage could earn you. Double Trade-In is as simple as it sounds… we’ll value your clubs and then double it, to be used against your new purchase.

Nearest the Pin Competition - ONE DAY TO GO...
We have had a fantastic reaction to our ‘Nearest the Pin Competition’ in association with Your Golf Travel.
The feature nearest the pin hole is the 7th at Pebble Beach, it’s just 110 yards, all you need to do to enter is login in with the Toptracer app and have as many goes as you like.
Competition ends Friday, 1 November. |
In 2018, only January saw more rainfall in the UK than November. Not the happiest of stats to highlight, but one that indicates we'll be experiencing a few downpours in the coming weeks, making a waterproof and spacious bag vital to tackle the unpredictable British weather. |
| Lynx Prowler Waterproof Stand Bag
| This waterproof (just in case the name didn't give it away!) bag looks pretty sleek in any of its four colourways and tips the scales at a minuscule 1.7 kg; perfect for quickly nipping in-between trees during a shower.
|
| Lynx Prowler Waterproof Cart Bag
| Its bigger brother is this cart bag, which offers the same waterproof properties as well as seven spacious pockets that are designed for easy access when on top of a trolley. It's the little things that count!
