Another week down and I’m sure it must warm up any day now… hopefully. The beast from the east has definitely outstayed its welcome around here. We are however another week closer to the first major of the year, ‘The Masters’ which begins on 5th April. Nothing signifies the start of summer better than watching the golf at Augusta.

Fitting day

Rogue Fitting Day

The Callaway Rogue range has already been hugely successful since its launch a couple of months ago and we are very excited to be hosting a Custom Fitting day on Saturday 14th April.

This will be running from 10am to 3pm with the expertise of a Callaway fitting technician along with our PGA professionals.

If you would like to book an appointment just give us a call or pop into store.

Club news

Twilight Offer

With the clocks going back this Saturday night and the evenings becoming lighter once again, we will be introducing a Twilight 4-ball offer of £15. So if 3 of you play you get one green fee FREE effectively. This offer will start on Monday 26th March from 5pm during the week and 4pm at the weekends.

In other club news we have some good news regarding buggies. Buggies are back and they are available for hire once again. Thanks for your patience while we allowed some of the walkways to dry out.

Coaching news

Roll Up Sessions

John is obviously training up some very dedicated golfers in his Roll Up Sessions as even the snow and 20mph winds weren’t enough to put them off this Saturday. I think the bribe of unlimited warm drinks may have been enough to convince them to come along.

Johns Roll up sessions have been going from strength to strength in recent months and it’s great to see the dedication they have.

His Roll Up sessions run every Saturday morning at 9:00 and Wednesdays at 10:00 and are a bargain at £10. No need to book just pop along any week you like.

Even the Beast from the east isn’t strong enough to put a stop to them!

As well as John's sessions Keely also runs a ladies roll-up group on Mondays at 11:00, the same as with Johns sessions - £10 per person, equipment supplied, all welcome and no need to book.

Junior golf

Easter Half Term Camp

Keely will be running her ever popular Half Term camps this Easter holiday. It will begin on Tuesday 10th April to Thursday 12th April from 9am-3pm.

Each day will consist of a variety of coaching, short game, adventure golf and maybe an Easter egg hunt.

If your child would like to attend it is only £89 for all 3 days or £35 per day.

Spaces are filling up quick so if you would like to sign someone up please call up or pop into store quickly.

New Titleist Irons

This week Christmas came early for our PGA pro Gavin as he took delivery of his new Titleist Irons and Wedges ready for the new season.

He went for a combo set of TMB in the longer irons and MB from 6 iron downwards along with the new SM7 wedges after he had a fitting.

He is very excited to become a Titleist Ambassador and is looking forward to putting his new clubs to the test in upcoming events.

New: Lynx Prowler irons
