The Open Draw 2014
Over the next few days I'm sure many of you will be glued to your televisions in excitement for The 143rd Open Championship. Will Tiger Woods manage to secure his 15th Major or will Sergio finally manage to clinch one but I'm sure whoever wins will provide thrilling golf over the days to come.
As I hope many of you are aware, we've been running an Open Draw over the past month running up to the championship to give you the chance of winning a brand new set of PING irons, plus prizes for the top seven golfers. 2014 Owner/Pro Challenge
As I'm sure many of you are aware Max is one of our professionals that competes in regular tournaments, but for this month (July) through to September he will be pairing up with our owner Michael Humphries to take on members over 9 holes! Prizes are on offer if you manage to beat the pair so an extra incentive to give it a go. Texas Scramble and Presentation Afternoon
On Sunday 27th July we will be holding our presentation afternoon for the year, running from January to Present. This should be an excellent way to get all of the members who have won competitions throughout the year together to celebrate their success. Before the presentation itself, we will have a 9 hole Texas Scramble from 12pm (£2 Entry per Person) followed up with a BBQ! So if you would like to take part in the event please make sure you get your names down in teams of three. We look forward to celebrating with you.
FootJoy Shoe Fitting Day
Friday 25th July will see our first ever FootJoy Shoe Fitting day. With 70% of golfers wearing the wrong size shoes, how do you know yours are correct? Simple, give us a call to book a time between 10am-4pm a FootJoy representative will assist you in ensuring you have the correct size and if not, will gladly point you in the right direction, after all, four hours is a long time in shoes that don't fit correctly!

Friday 1st August will see the latest piece of equipment that PING have to offer availble to try, this is of course the PING G30. Junior Coaching
Our junior coaching continues to go from strength to strength - if you're on the driving range on a Saturday or Sunday morning you can see some fantastic swings from children as young as 4! What's more they're all having a great time.
