North Foreland Pro Am

We have to begin this week’s newsletter with a brief update as to how two of our professionals fared this week in the North Foreland Pro Am. As former members and past club champions both Max and Gavin would have had high hopes – but to finish 1st and 2nd respectively is a great achievement.

In high winds Max was out early and posted an amazing 7 under par 64, this always looked a super score given the weather conditions, it only became apparent just how good though as competitor after competitor came in over par! The final leaderboard shows Max as the only pro who managed to break par and ultimately finishing nine shots ahead of second place! And in second place we had our very own Gavin Webb who continued his encouraging start to his professional career.

The good news is that you too can benefit from Max and Gavin’s coaching ability as they are both available for individual and group lessons. Our next group session is aimed specifically at beginners and novices and it the perfect opportunity to start golf in the right way.
