We’ve had another busy week at the golf centre, our greenkeeping team have been busy keeping the course to the high standard we’ve been accustomed to. Keep an eye out for some devilish pin positions this weekend as we have our annual club championships over Saturday and Sunday morning. Good Luck Keely

Following her success in British Open pre qualifying Keely is heading to Scotland this weekend for final Open qualifying, this takes place at The Castle Course, St Andrews on Monday, 31 July – good luck!

Closer to home Max has been in action in the Surrey Open, a solid level par first round saw him make the cut, and as this newsletter goes out he will be in the middle of his final round, you can see how he goes by clicking here.

Coaching Success

Another week and another success story from one of our coaching clients! This time it’s Pauline Nicholls who has been having lessons with Keely for the last year. Here’s her recent scorecard and some comments from her proud coach:

Another fantastic result from one of my lessons was Pauline Nicholls at Canterbury golf club. Myself and Pauline have been working together for about a year on her golf and she has come up trumps in the last two events. Firstly she played in the Cayley Cup and got cut from 21.0 - 20.2 then followed it up in the next medal round and got cut from 20.2 - 18.1. I'm extremely proud of how she has developed as a golfer and long may it continue for the rest of the year. PS she only went and won both!!!

Our existing ladies roll-up coaching session continues every week at 11:00.
