The grip is the only part of the club that has any contact with the club during the swing - so it really will pay dividends to make sure yours are giving you the maximum performance.

It has to be said grips aren't the most exciting of products, and we're sure most of you would much rather be trying the latest distance enhancing driver than a new grip. Join Max for a State of The Art Fitting at Callaway HQ

We're delighted to announce that this year Max Brackley has been selected as a Callaway Golf Staff player, and will be playing the latest in their range of clubs as he competes in EuroPro and PGA South Region events. 

Max will shortly be heading off to Callaway HQ at Chessington to receive a state of the art fitting from a Callaway fitter and the good news is he has space to take 3 of our customers with him who will all receive the same fitting experience.

GreenSole Course

Much of what happens to make the course play as well as it does all year round happens out of sight of our customers - either early morning before most of our golfers are on the course or in planning the various treatments the course needs. Many of the treatments are particularly expensive, and it's fair to say there are times when we question how important they are. However we take great store in the expert advice we receive from our Agronomist and greenkeeping team and will always invest to make the course as good as possible.

Interestingly one of the most costly treatments is spraying for fusarium. We're certainly glad that we invested in this spray and treated our greens accordingly. When we met with our agronomist last week he showed us this picture of a course in Kent that decided to "cut back" and "not bother" and unfortunately these were the results.

We'll try to keep you updated monthly through our newsletter as to what our greenkeepers are up to and most importantly the reasons behind it.
