We're delighted with the feedback we are regularly receiving about the golf course, all levels of player are regularly commenting on the standard of the greens and how dry and playable the course is during the Winter.
Trolleys are allowed all year round and generally so are buggies - temporary greens are rare indeed.
As many of you will know, the golf course was added to the golf centre around 10 years after the range was built - as such it's not as well-known as the driving range is. We'd love to find out a bit more about your golfing habits through the following brief survey:
1) Have you ever played our golf course? Yes/No
2) If yes how frequently do you play it? Once a week/2-3 times a week/2-3 times a month/Other
3) Do you just use the driving range? Yes/No
4) If the answer was NO to all of the above, what do you use the centre for?
Click here to complete this survey filling out the form with the question number and then your answer.
As a thank you for completing this short survey we'll pick a respondent at random and they'll receive a month's FREE golf and range balls!
Monthly Medal
This month's monthly medal takes place over this coming weekend. Entry is just £2 and is open to all members. Organise your own tee times and pairings - if you need help arranging with somebody to play with please contact reception and we'll try to assist.
Winter Foursomes
Well done to Ian Baker and Paul Griffiths on getting through to the semi-finals where they will meet Gary Davis and Tony Parsons. In the bottom half of the draw Andy Wall and David Jupp take on Michael Whyte and Alan Taylor, while Mark Aston and Simon Fagg play John Penny and Terry Gambrell to see who makes up the second semi-final.
Winter League
Our popular winter league is now in full swing (if you pardon the pun!) - Terry Gambrell is the man in form winning three of his games and looking in good shape to progress to the knockout stages. Make sure you get all your games in to maximise your points and chance of progression!
Clear Out Your Old Clubs
Last week we announced our clear out your clubs promotion. It's simple, throughout January we'll take your old clubs off you and give you a voucher in exchange to use at the golf centre. Just call in to the golf centre with what you've got and we'll assess your clubs and give you a value, if you're happy with it we'll convert this into a voucher for you to use on anything - equipment, range balls, tuition, golf course, it's really up to you!
So as one customer did this week you could swap this for this:
Assorted Callaway driver, fairway and TaylorMade 3 wood swapped for a BRAND NEW Ping G 3 wood.
