Here in your pro shop we are keen to help you prepare for the elements in every way possible, and now is the perfect time to give your game some TLC before the winter months roll in.

In particular it is vitally important to check both your grips and your spikes.

Grips that are shiny and worn will cause you to lose your grip on the club causing more mishit shots throughout your round. Drop in and we can fit you for a brand new tacky grip that will help you combat these conditions. We can also help you find the perfect sized grip for you which will be of huge benefit to your game.

As well as this, it is key to check the spikes on the bottom of your shoes. This is an area that is often left unnoticed, but can cause your feet to slip out on the course, whether during the swing, or just when walking from tee to green.

Don't let yourself become a victim of the elements and drop into the pro shop today.

 

Have You Tried The 10th Yet?

It’s been another busy week at the golf centre with new stock arriving daily, further progress with our 10th Bar, and Jim and his team of greenkeepers working tremendously hard to keep the course irrigated during this hot spell.

Our new kitchen has been up and running for a few weeks now and Mark and his team have enjoyed looking after you all since then. Our seating units have now also arrived and the transformation has been quite something. 

Last week we took delivery of a 40ft and a 20ft shipping container which have been converted specifically for our purposes.

Watching the 40ft unit being lowered into position was quite something! 

Since then we’ve been busily fitting doors, adding furniture and laying decking. 

We’re delighted with the result and hope now all of our customers will be able to relax in comfort either before or after their golf.

The transformation from humble container to restaurant is now complete with decking being added to the entrance.

Now that we have indoor seating we will be offering a much fuller menu, incuding – gourmet burgers, meat platers, cheese boards, fish and chips and much much more.

Once the “dust has settled” we will be having a “grand opening”, so make sure you keep your eyes peeled for your exclusive invite.


  

Under Armour Autumn Collection

So in the midst of the hottest September since records began we’ve just taken delivery of our Under Armour Autumn Collection – including Gore-Tex jackets and bobble hats. 

Without doubt though Under Armour is the hot clothing brand of the moment and they operate on a very strict “when it’s gone it’s gone policy”, so if you want to be the first to get your hands on this new collection it’s in store now. 

As well as the cold weather lines, there’s lots of all year round garments featuring the latest “coldgear and coldblack” body temperature regulating technology.
