Hello golfers,
Welcome golfers to another one of our weekly newsletters. I hope you're staying dry and warm and enjoying your golf. Here are the stories for this week.
Double Trouble
 John has been coaching a client of his, John Faulkner, over the last year who wants to get down to single figures and he is gently moving in the right direction. On route to his goal this summer he has managed to get into the semi-finals of one major tournament at Chestfield Golf Club and he is also in the finals of the Crosby Cup there as well.
No dilemma so far you would have thought, but then John hears that another member, who he has known for many years, was not happy with his golf and he came down for some help about 6 weeks ago, and he is also in the final but on the other side. Obviously the lesson worked and John is extremely delighted that both are in the final.
Junior Coaching
These sessions are a fantastic way to introduce your children into golf or just get some helpful tips to help improve their game. There is no need to book for this session, and all ages and standards are welcome.
The sessions take place on Monday evenings from 5pm - 6pm and Saturday mornings from 10am - 11am, where our PGA professional's Keely Chiericato & Benj Vernon will be happy to help you.
Members Presentation Afternoon
It's coming to the time of year where we celebrate the year's achievements from the members that have won or achieved success in our competitions. The date for the presentation will be on Friday 6th November from 1pm. There will be a 5 club fun competition on the day before the presentation that all are welcome to play in at a cost of £5pp. Following the round there will be a FREE BBQ to all.

Max's team wins at The London Club
Last Wednesday saw Max take to the golf course in a ProAm at The London Club. With the weather turning out to be horrendous, with torrential rain and high winds predicted, Max knew it wouldn't be an easy round. In the end Max shot a round of 72 which gave him a finish for 5th. However Max's team shot 14under to win by three shots! Max managed to play the last 6 holes in -3 which included an eagle at the par 5 over the water. Well done Max.
