That time of week has arrived once more for one of our weekly newsletters! I hope you enjoyed the extra day of The Open despite the weather being horrendous. Jordan Spieth just missed out on winning the first three majors of the year meaning that Zach Johnson would emerge victorious this year for his second career major! Just goes to show that you haven't got to hit it 350yds to be successful. Enjoy your week.
Adventure Golf and Daily Coaching
Monday, 3 - Wednesday, 5 August will see our PGA Professional David Vernon run a three day summer camp for juniors, and this will include daily coaching PLUS some time on our brand new Adventure Golf course.
It costs just £65 for the three days and that includes lunch!
The session will run from 10-2pm!
For more information please don't hesitate to contact David via email at david@manstongolf.co.uk.
Birthday Celebration Weekend was a Success
Last weekend we celebrated our 20th Birthday with a competition spread out over Friday and Saturday with plenty of prizes to be won including a brand new car for a hole in 1 on the third hole.
A huge thank you to all of the sponsors for making the weekend a massive success; Perry's, Truprint, Blaze Neon, Joe and Miranda Georgiou, Sutton Cladding, Stroud Windows, Jolly Farmer, Warner Property and GoKart Trolleys.
Everyone seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves and also the Hog Roast at the end of it. A huge thank you to everyone who turned up and again to the sponsors for making it such a special weekend.
Beginners Club
As I hope many of you are aware, every month our PGA Assistant Professional Benj Vernon runs the beginners club. This is a 5 week course that can help beginners get themselves familiar with golf and learn a few new skills.
The next date for the FREE session is on Tuesday, 18 August from 18:30pm-19:30pm and is open to anyone.
Bring friends and family and learn something new this summer.
For more information, please don't hesitate to contact a member of staff, or click here to get in touch.
What are our Pro's up to?
As many of you know our PGA Pro's head out and play in regular competitions not only locally, but globally, to compete against other pro's..
Tuesday will see Keely head out to Germany for another LET Access Tour event, whereas Benj and Max are staying a bit closer to home and playing at Woodcote Park GC in the PGA Fourball qualifier.
We wish all three the very best of luck and will be sure to keep you all updated on how they all get on.
