It's hard to believe, but Manston Golf Centre is 20 years old this year. 

In the beginning we were just a driving range as the pictures below shows:

Since then a short game area, coaching bays and grass practice area have been added. 

Our 9 hole golf course was built and opened in 2000, and since then has matured into an excellent test of golf ideal for beginners and the more experienced. Originally it was conceived as a round in a hour course, it soon developed into a full 9 hole course with 6 par 4's and 3 par 3's.

Next weekend we are holding two competitions over Friday, 17 and Saturday, 18 July to celebrate our 20 years. We've combined with local Vauxhall dealership Perry's to offer some amazing prizes.

Make a hole in one on our par 3 3rd hole and you will be walking away with this stunning Vauxhall Corsa Limited Edition worth £15,000.

We have nearest the pin, longest drive and 1st, 2nd, 3rd prizes for both days.

This competition is open to all, non members and members alike. The format is pairs greensomes, so either enter in pairs, or if you've haven't a partner let us know and we'll find you one. 

To follow the event is a hog roast and barbecue, so please do see if you can join us for what should be a great event.

Well done John Faulkner! 

John has been having regular lessons with our PGA Professional John Brotherton for some time and has enjoyed a great couple of weeks of golf. Firstly he finished 2nd in the nett section of the recent Chestfield Golf Club Club Championships As if that wasn't enough, he followed this up with 2 holes in 1 in a week. Very well done!
