Hello and welcome to another one of our weekly newsletters, in this week's newsletter we have some exciting news regarding the golf course, an update on our adventure golf, some exciting range news and also a write up on John's Putting Clinic held last week. John's Putting Clinic (16th May)

Last Saturday (16th) saw John put on one of his specialist putting clinics here at MGC. It was fully subscribed and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the session and took away several key points and thoughts that will help them on the course in the future. John will be running a short game clinic in the coming weeks; so we will be sure to keep you informed and updated as to when it will be held.

The 6th Green

If you've visited us over the past few months you will have noticed that the 6th green has undergone a major face lift! We have reshaped the green and also added a pond to make the hole a little trickier! We are pleased to announce that the turf arrived on Tuesday morning, Jim and his team worked extremely hard on getting the turf down that in fact the turf was laid by Wednesday evening! Jim has informed us that the green should be ready for use by the middle of July!

Our Adventure Golf

Our Adventure Golf is continuing to make giant strides towards completion. Over the past week the construction on the kiosk has begun and is nearly complete. If you look closely you will also see a Land Rover too!

There are some very exciting additions that are due to be added this week which include a dinosaur egg and also a dinosaur! It's all very exciting!

We're Turning 20!

This summer we're turning 20, and in the years since we've been open we have gone from strength to strength with the addition of the golf course, and also improving the range and general facilities, and of course the Adventure Golf.

To celebrate our birthday we are holding a big competition and would love to see as many past and present golfers as possible!

The event will be held over two days:

- Friday, 17 July 
- Saturday, 18 July

The competition will be a pairs greensomes.

The event will include a 2's comp each day, hog roast afterwards, nearest the pin, the chance to win a car with a hole in 1! And a family fun competition which is to be held on our new Adventure Golf Course!

Another Chance to become our Game Improvement Champion

Andy Heath is our Game Improvement Champion! The response to this opportunity was unprecedented and therefore we are offering you another opportunity to join Andy in becoming our Game Improvement Champion.

Our PGA Assistant Benj Vernon will be looking for a Game Improvement Champion to be a part of an 8 week coaching course. This is a terrific opportunity and of course is great value!
