Coaching Success Stories

Another busy week for our coaches in the studio and as usual lots of success stories in our fittings and lessons. Keely had great success fitting Don Edwards in one of her lessons for the G400 driver adding some loft to help his launch angle and going for the draw bias head. Don was able to add 14 yards more carry to his drives after being fitted correctly, an increase in distance I’m sure nobody would turn down. I’m sure Don will look forward to receiving his driver later this week. Don was also able to take advantage of our double trade-in offer to which helped make the purchase even easier. Keely also had success with pupil Pauline Nichols this week, after her medal round at Canterbury Golf Club all came together, resulting in her handicap cut by a shot. Pauline and Keely have been working closely together on all aspects of her game over the last year, it was great for her to get the reduction in handicap she deserves. Pauline suffers with some neck/back problems which has had to be considered when working on her swing to make it work for her. Coach Keely explains “Everyone is built differently and we all have various aches or pain, however it is important to ask questions and assess what movements a player is able to make, before altering their swing.” Recently we have been working on trying to get a better connection between the arms and body into the downswing and understanding the influences of swing plane and path.
