Greensole Course
April showers have come late this year, despite a recent damp spell we've still only received a fraction of the normal rainfall for the time of year - just 10mm in the last 2 months! The Greensole Course remains in great condition though, and continues to receive rave reviews.
We're keeping our twilight time at 17:30 until the end of May, so there's plenty of time to enjoy 9 holes for just £5 after work.
Let's hope with summer evenings coming you will all be able to enjoy our new upstairs patio pictured below too!
Short Game Clinic with John Brotherton
PGA Professional John Brotherton is running one of his popular clinic sessions…
Pitching/chipping & bunker play Clinic this Saturday, 20 May - 10.30am to 12.30pm for only £20 per person. Limited spaces.
He will be focusing on your short game, and will be explaining to you why you are hitting those bad shots and how to cure them during the clinic, so, why not give John a call or pop into the shop and book your place to make the most of your summer golf.
The clinic will take place on our fabulous short game area with our recently updated Titleist NXT balls!

Lots of John's clients have been enjoying great success recently, here's just a small sample…
Marcus Savdides won the last medal with a fine nett 60. Sonia from Westgate has only had the first lesson of her two hour programme to help her with her bunker play and went straight out afterwards and won a lovely trophy at her home club.
Tony came to John recently wanting to give the game up as in his words he had 'lost the plot completely.' He had been fiddling on his own trying to fix it but unfortunately only made it worse. John explained to him straight away how he was going wrong and how to easily fix it and after one more lesson to make sure he wasn't losing his way he went out the next weekend and won two competitions.
And lastly but definitely not least, Henry, who I'm sure will not mind me saying is not a spring chicken any more, but is still trying to improve his game got his handicap cut last week!
