We've enjoyed a busy week at the golf centre, with the new Warren Bennett Academy opening, untold boxes of new stock arriving and a fleeting appearance on Sky TV on Wednesday evening…… Enjoy the read!


 

Warren Bennett Golf Academy

The Warren Bennett Golf Academy opened at Manston golf centre last weekend, the weekend was a huge success with over 200 visitors over the two days.

The Visitors got a small taste of the technology that both studios offer, with a small FlightScope skills test which tested the golfers from 4 different yardages. Congratulations to David Houseman for winning the skills challenge, not one of his shots missing the 4 targets.

A huge thank you from Warren and Max and to all those that came down to see us. The WBGA is now open and in full swing with lots of new lessons signing up to both Warren and Max. The opening offers are still ongoing, 3 hours for £99 with Warren and 3 hours for £69 with Max.

Our TV Appearance 

Towards the end of last year we were approached by a production company for the TV Channel TLC who wanted to film a couple on a blind date as part of one of their reality shows. 

TLC screened on Wednesday on Sky 125 and our young couple Pippa and James had a great time and the course looked amazing on television, particularly with all the lights on - unfortunately our screen shot doesn't really do it justice. 

If you haven't played our Rascal Bay Adventure Golf course yet then come and give it a go as children and adults alike love it and it's regularly referred to as one of the best in the country.




David, John, Benj and Keely have had a very busy start to 2016 with lots of you taking advantage of their fantastic Winter offers.

Again this has proved a popular get together group, all aspects of the game will be covered, this is an ideal opportunity to get the whole family involved!

New Stock 

It's hard to know where to begin with regards to all the new stock we have received this week (and there's more to come). We kicked off with an exciting delivery of the latest TaylorMade M2 driver and irons fitting equipment. M2 doesn't replace M1 in the TaylorMade range, but completes the "M" family and is designed for ultimate forgiveness. Our first fittings with this club have been fantastic delivering 21 yards on average extra distance and greater accuracy.

We have the full selection of gents, ladies and left hand heads available to be fitted from in the fitting studio. Why not book in for a fitting and see if we can find you another 21 yards too.

For the first time in a couple of years we are stocking Yonex again. Having tested the new product in late 2015 we were very impressed with both the performance and feel. Medal Results 

Well done to Cathy Yates on winning the January weekend medal, this month saw an extremely closely fought contest with Cathy, Bronwyn Henry and Graham Marek all finished in a tie for first with a nett 64. Ultimately it was Cathy who came out on top winning on countback.
